Profile

Founded in 2013 by [a=Yapacc] and [a=Hali], Pfand is a Berlin-based vinyl record label, focusing on the fringes of contemporary underground electronic dance music. Pfand was born one cool autumn evening in the Canadian wilderness where these two Berlin-based electronic music producers met together, and upon discovering their shared ideologies in sound, sketched out their concept for a new Berlin-based label. The pair behind the plan are [a=Yapacc] (Uwe George Giegler) and [a=Hali] (Hal Wong).
