Before the name change in 1994-1995, the Singaporean unit of BMG was known as [l=BMG Pte. Ltd.], with [l=BMG Singapore] as label. Both are not to be confused with this BMG unit. Also noted as [b]BMG (S) Pte. Ltd.[/b] In 2005, merged with Sony Music (Singaporean branch: [l=Sony Music Entertainment (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.]) to form Sony BMG, in which the Singaporean affiliate became [l=Sony BMG Music Entertainment Singapore Pte Ltd.].
