Lyrick Studios was formed in 1994 following the launch and success of the show "Barney & Friends". By the late 1990's they were also becoming known as the main distributor for [a930533], as well as the primary United States distributor for international shows such as [a152508], [a8097264], [a3878424], and [a442011]. They were purchased by [l401826] in 2001 and were almost entirely folded in within the year. The only active use of the Lyrick Studios name currently is for holding the IP to the "Barney & Friends" series.
