Profile

US label founded by [a=Wayne Rapier] in 1990. Releases focus on oboe recitals and re-releases of LP wind instrument recordings. Not to be confused with the earlier LP label [l=Boston Records] founded by [a=James Stagliano] which featured Boston Symphony Orchestra players in the late 1950s and early 1960s. The master tapes of the earlier Boston Records were acquired by Rapier, but it does not appear that he produces and re-issues from them.
