A.k.a. Liberty Records Ltd. - Subsidiary UK branch of [l=Liberty Records, Inc.], launched in the middle of 1967 when the contract with [l=E.M.I. Records Limited] expires. See Billboard 1. Juli 1967 page 6. The manufacturing and distribution changed to [l=Philips Records Ltd.] [b]Attention![/b] If the successor company [l=Liberty/United Artists Records Ltd.] appears parallel, please denote both companies. This credit appears since spring 1969 on the releases. For the relaunched [l=Liberty] label version from the 80s please use [l=Liberty Records (UK) Ltd.] While the predecessor company EMI used the LBY mono cat# series, it was replaced by the new LBL series. Same situation with the old SLBY stereo series by replaced by the LBS series. The label design changed from the black E.M.I. label version to the new blue Liberty version. Similar to [l=Liberty Records Limited] in the UK, the [l=Liberty Records GmbH] was installed in Germany.
