Profile
Originally a US hip-hop label set up as a subsidiary of Warlock records in 1986 and ran by [a=Tony D.]. Home of artists such as the Jungle Brothers; MC Serch, who later formed 3rd Bass; JVC Force; and King Tre. Soon more of the releases moved toward house music, especially early work from Todd Terry under the guises Royal House and Orange Lemon. This in turn led to hip-house releases such as “I'll House You” by the Jungle Brothers. Its catalog is presently controlled by [l=Phase One Network], an asset management company.
