Mohawk was the brainchild of UK Hard House / Hard Trance producer [a=Chris C] and was distributed by Alphamagic. In mid 2003 Chris left Alphamagic, but Mohawk Records remained their property. After an absence of over 10 years, Mohawk is back in digital format once again bringing you some of the best Hard House releases from the UK and around the world. Our reputation was built on producing tough, upfront, innovative tunes for the ‘harder’ dance floors and that’s something we are determined to continue as we revive the famous label and its distinctive sound. With over 90 single releases and 2 albums to his name, DJ, producer and writer [a=Chris C] is back at the helm of the label he created in the late 90s with the aim of making Mohawk Digital one of the leading players on the scene once again. He’s back in the studio again himself (working with major players like Dynamic Intervention) but will also be looking to release exciting new material from emerging producers worldwide. As an essential part of the process, we are extremely pleased and proud to have teamed up with Toolbox Digital, one of the most respected online dance music outlets, to market our releases for download.
