Enigma Retro became a division of [l=Enigma Records (3)], the company founded by William & Wesley Hein, after it was acquired by [l=Capitol Records] in 1989. The retro label focused on reissues of some of the non-mainstream acts, licensed from such labels as [l=Straight], [l=Bizarre Records] & [l=Discreet].
