Profile
The United Hot Clubs of America (U.S.A.) Reissue label founded by [l=Commodore Music Shop] owner Milt Gabler in October 1935 and active until ca. 1941. Reissued important early jazz recordings, sometimes using the original stampers, as with [l=American Record Corporation] or [l=Columbia] recordings, sometimes dubs, as with [l=Gennett] and [l=Paramount] records. Releases were pressed by Columbia Transcription Services or [l=Decca Records, Inc.] and sold through Gabler's shop.
