Founded by [a=Henri Debs]. Ended in 1984 to create [l=Debs]. Throughout its existence, Disques Debs was arguably the most important label of the French-speaking Caribbean, playing a major role in popularizing beguine, zouk, and compas music. Releases were manufactured both in France and Barbados (the latter by [l107560]) for distribution around the world. Consider adding also [l=Disques Debs International] as 2nd label if it appears on the release.
