[b]Germany[/b] On German releases the catalog number is called "Bestell No.", and this number is the same on both sides of the record. The matrix numbers on the labels are called "Katalog No." and are different on both sides of the record. The "Bestell No." system was introduced in May 1912. If a "Bestell No." appears on the release, please list it as catalog number. If no "Bestell No." is present on the record, please list both matrix numbers separately as catalog numbers.
