Radio Bomb was created in 1993 by Voodoo Mix, an English DJ since 1989, after the end of the Circus Lunatek sound system. The name comes from the pirate fm radio staion used to transmit parties,festivals & studios. Hard, dark and energetic sounds for productions which range from Acid to Breakbeat and Drum'n'Bass to breakcore. Radio Bomb took an active part in the emergence of the French free party scene and sounds, and was on the road 8years in a 22ton horsebox. Contrary to popular belief, Alex was not a member of the Spiral Tribe,[prefering to remain independant, and already belonging to, and founding Circus Lunatek] but played at almost all the events in the 1st 4 years of the tribe,warehouses,festivals, roundhouse etc. sometimes the only dj to play before it came on top ![Canary Wharf]. Circus Lunatek added soundsytem + hgv's at festivals and urban warehouse sites. [Also intensive & regular dj-ing for Bedlam sound system] His early works were distributed by Network 23. After the demise of ntw23 distribution, La Baleine[Cerberus], Pias[Prime Numbers ft Jamalski], & Discograph[Chip jockey 06]. aprox 30 vinyl releases on the RB label. all sold out except 1 or 2.
