The [l=UK Dance] label originally began in 1995 and was created by [a=Force & Styles]. This 'version' of UK Dance continued to release top quality Hardcore tracks until 1999 when Happy Hardcore began to lose it's massive popularity. The new [l=UK Dance 2] began in 2005 with releases firstly coming from [a=Force & Jack Speed]. [a=Jamie Ritmen], originally part of [a=DJ Force & The Evolution] was re-introduced to the release roster in February 2007, and as of May 2008, was the owner of UK Dance. In 2021, Jamie Ritmen stepped down as owner and the UK Dance Records brand was subsequently taken over by hardcore artist Kevin Instinct in January 2021.
