Soviet Media Kontrol began in the beginning of 2005 as a small collective of musicians, consisting of [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/Lockbox]Lockbox[/url], [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/Zer0+Fidelity]Zer0 Fidelity[/url], [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/Slayv+Axis]Slayv Axis[/url], Bound And Decaying & [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/Dark+Sun]Dark Sun[/url]. The collective was shortly lived because the Founder & President Scott Murray called it quits only a few months after it's inception. One year later, John Lohr of Slayv Axis revived it as a small independent CD-R based record label focusing primarily on Power Noise & related Industrial music. It closed on July 21, 2010 and remained inactive for 8.5 years. On January 28, 2019 the label was reactivated.
