Canadian record label established 1973 in Toronto by former [l202836] sales manager [a3397403]'s record company [l=LaBuick Sound, Inc.] Launched in February 1973 along with its sister label [l464212]. Canadian manufacturing and distribution was handled by [l=Pickwick Records Of Canada Ltd.] Australian distribution was handled by [l98017]. US distribution was initially handled by Pickwick. Initially the label lasted until 1974 when LaBuick pivoted focus to launching [l52245]. After the success of [l52245] and [l441499] the label was relaunched ca. 1978 and a U.S. office was opened.
