Sound For Industry Ltd. was a British record manufacturing company similar to [l=Lyntone Recordings Ltd.], located in London. They specialised in Flexi-discs and developed the 'Sound-Kard', a Flexi-disc laminated to a printed backing card. Founded in May 1967, by a family from Polish origin called the Maclejewski's, the company was dissolved by August 1983 and moved to Kent, where it continued as [l472440] from 1985 onwards. Interestingly enough, the same family was running the [l264337], located just behind the manufacturing works in the same building.
