German label Label Code: LC 4340 / LC 04340 Zebra was originally established as a progressive rock label, handled by the German division of [l73924] in 1971. The original batch of 16 LP's (and a few singles) was largely Krautrock focused: [a324668], [a505702], [a1744525], [a442269], etc. Sometime in the mid 1970's, the brand was sold to [l145463] who changed it into a budget label with children's records, pop, folk and classical music. According to current GVL information, the label is now held by Universal Music Entertainment GmbH.
