Czech copyright holder and backend of publisher and book editor [l93961]. The company KMa s.r.o. was founded in September 1997 by siblings Jan Maivald and Helena Šimková (KMa is most likely an abbreviation for "Knihy Maivald") to start editorial operations for their outlets [l67205]. Publications by KMa s.r.o. were often branded with the logo of [l93961]. Mainly, the company manufactured media on its own or it was licensee for media, which was then published by the sales network of the company. This consisted on the one hand of their own outlets [l67205] or on the other hand, starting from 1998, they were exclusive supplier for books and media for the Czech arm of [l41750], later also for the Czech arms of [l551071] and [l206309]. The company was dissolved in November 2008, after all operations were concentrated within successor company [l298503], founded in December 2007.
