Rastermusic (sometimes also credited [b]Raster Music[/b]) was founded by [a=Olaf Bender] and [a=Frank Bretschneider] in 1996. Some releases were joint editions with [l=noton.archiv für ton und nichtton] label although they usually include different catalogue numbers from each label. In the last months of 1999 Rastermusic and noton.archiv für ton und nichtton labels fusioned under the name raster-noton.archiv für ton und nichtton although it's usually known simply as [l=Raster-Noton]. The original label website domain (www.rastermusic.com) is now used for other thing not related to the label.
