Well, Trash Tapes is the Sub-Label of [url=http://www.discogs.com/label/Phantomnoise+Records]Phantomnoise Records[/url] but it fact it has been started some years before! Dezember 1994 was the starting point for this label, run by Alexander Dreyhaupt aka Alex Dee aka World Ab-at. It happend when he self-released his first tunes on a C-90 tape, copied it to several blank tapes and gave it to around 20 friends. Thats the way for all the first 10 releases by Alexdee, A.S.T., Dj Inapt and several close friends of that time. There where no official catalog numbers for the first three tapes, everything started with cat.no. 004. Some releases were split-releases or later re-issued on CD-R or Tape on friendly labels like: [url=http://www.discogs.com/label/Cold-Coffein-Addict+Records]Cold-Coffein-Addict Records[/url] [url=http://www.discogs.com/label/Neuf+Noir+Records]Neuf Noir Records[/url] [url=http://www.discogs.com/label/Bad+Taste]Bad Taste[/url] Even though there ware no releases since 2005, the project Trash Tapes will never be finished!!!
