It opened in 1957 as "[i]Michigan State University—Oakland[/i]" after Matilda Dodge Wilson, the [url=https://discogs.com/label/1051547]Dodge[/url] automaker fortune's heiress, and her second husband donated their 1,400-acre estate to Michigan State University. OU is the second-largest university in the Detroit Metropolitan Area.
