Early 80s Dance Label based in Philadelphia. Found by [a=Peter Pelullo] in 1982 as a subsidiary of [l=Alpha International Studios], to establish domestic and international record distribution networks. Absorbed in 1986 into Alpha, which was retained in order to focus on studio operations and the formation of a new record company. Philly World is also known as The World of Philadelphia.
