Leftover Records (2)
Profile
Leftover Records was founded in 1989 in Lawrence, Kansas, by Dave Allman, Jon Harrison, and Mark Johnson, then collectively known as The Wilmas. The band started playing in Spring 1989 and quickly accumulated enough songs for a physical release, which they did with a DIY spirit by forming their own independent label. The label had one official release, The Wilmas' Songs About Girls 2x7" from late 1989, though there were a few "unofficial" releases as well - two demo tapes released by Sunday Drive, a band Mark formed after the demise of The Wilmas.
