French label and publisher. For publishing roles, they may also appear as [l=Editions Cobalt]. Created in 1979 by [a=Philippe Conrath] with 2 other journalists colleagues of the newspaper [l=Libération], Cobalt stopped a few later later, only to be resurrected in 1989 thanks to the dynamic of the Africolor festival that takes place in the Seine-Saint-Denis (Parisian suburb). They started [l=Cobalt Africolor] as the vehicule for the African music represented at the festival.
