Dance Maker

Profile

Dance label from Star Maker Studios, similar to Dance World featuring artists such as Herr Weissman, Unisonic, S.W.A.T., Patricia, Baron, etc. that was formed in early 1996, potentially as the sibling project to Dance World. Previously, Herr Weissman worked with Izabela, Karolina and Kaśka under Blue Star and Unisonic released a couple songs through Blue Star as well. Dance Maker started activities by premiering its artists through the compilation Dance Maker Vol. 1 in early 1997. Singles from this company were promoted through Dance World's television program on Polsat and Polsat 2. Following this release, Dance Maker suddenly ceased operations, potentially for Star Maker to focus on Dance World or maybe due to sales. Unisonic and Baron moved to Dance World while other projects are believed to have disbanded following the closure and the artists likely left Star Maker. The label was briefly revived in 1998 for a compilation release of songs outside of the Dance Maker label.
