Label run by experimental artist [a=Hal McGee]. Started in the 1990s in Gainesville, FL. NOTE: Hal McGee began chronologically reissuing HalTapes releases in January 2013. He has re-set the catalog numbers for this purpose. Reissues may have different catalog numbers than previous editions of the release. Also, a reissued release may share the same catalog number as a previous version of a different release. Update: as of June 2014 the revised catalog numbers have been removed from the label website.
