Young

Profile

Young was first introduced by Miguel Vaccaro Neto and Enrique Lebendiger (from the Fermata label) as a Brazilian label specialized in Rock 'n' Roll in the late 50's - it is considered one of the most important labels of the genre in Brazil, with a cast that included Brazilian Rock 'n' Roll legends such as Nick Savoia, Regiane, The Beverlys, The Avalons, The Rebels and others. It also released a number of Duane Eddy records licensed by Jamie Records, including 7" singles, EPs and at least two LPs. The label in its original form was abandoned in the early 60's, but in the 70's [l=Discos RGE/Fermata Ltda.] resurrected it to release material from international artists such as Elton John, Giorgio Moroder and others.
