UK label from 1979-82. Catalogue numbers start with GEMS. Later releases have a 'GEM Records' logo. Mainly disco, reggae, soul artists, but also moved into punk/mod revival with U.K. Subs, V.I.P.'s and Killermeters, and metal with Samson & Praying Mantis. Manufactured and distributed by RCA Records.
