Started as a series of warehouse parties in Sydney, Australia - before turning into a record label. Founded by local disc jockeys and bon vivants The Santamaria Brothers (ex Lost Valentinos, CSMNT61) and Vivi, alongside Bang Gang 12 Inches man Angus Gruzman (aka Dreems, co-founder of Multi Culti) and Francis Xavier (ex-Infusion). Most releases are recorded in the MTK Studios, which have moved numerous times, rising and falling with the Sydney property market. Motorik! has given birth to a number of spin offs, including Output Festival, Cities of Gold and assorted other ventures. They host Friday Sunset, 6-8pm, on local dance music station FBi Radio.
