Justin Time Records was founded in 1982 with a focus on the Canadian jazz scene. The labels logos are also written Disques Justin Time Records and Justin Time Records. The label originally supported jazz, blues and gospel recordings, and in the nineties, it diversified to include tango, musique actuelle, film soundtracks and historic reissues (via sub-label Just A Memory Records).
