Kiss The Stone

Profile

Kiss The Stone Records (KTS) was one of the most famous bootleg recording companies from the 90's, which released unofficial live recordings of most pop-rock artists from the period. The company was based in Italy, where the law allowed the company to market bootlegs as long as it placed royalties for the artists in an escrow account. Most artists wouldn't bother collecting, either because they didn't want to legitimize the bootlegs or because tracking down escrow accounts in a foreign country was more trouble than it was worth. Kiss The stone was run by the producer [a2694182] and "[a1112717]". The label also had offshoots - [l49583], [l132557] for the Japanese market and a large design studio, [a3393336], with in-house photographers and designers. Now defunct, the label was known to reissue their most selling titles over their years of activity.
