Little David Records

Profile

Little David Records (or just "Little David") is a label formed in 1969 by comedian Flip Wilson (named after his son, whom Wilson often referred to on his TV show in the sketches where he played "Geraldine Jones"). Wilson sold the label to comedian George Carlin in the mid-70's and was deactivated in 1980 when Carlin formed Eardrum Records. Also, Warner Bros. Records distributed Little David for two years (1975 through 1977) before reverting to Atlantic for distribution.
