[b]This page is for the label, for the company please use [l=Lyntone Recordings Ltd.][/b] Lyntone Recordings Ltd. are best known as a manufacturer of flexi-discs, due to being the European licensee of the flexi-disc process that was developed and patented by [l=Eva-Tone Soundsheets]. Lyntone Recordings Ltd. also pressed vinyl and very occasionally they self-released records with Lyntone as the stand alone label (e.g. [r=3247137]). Originally owned by Mr & Mrs Lynton, eventually becoming a subsidiary of [l117315] in the 1980s, before closing in December 1990. References to [l380740], Damont and Lyntone often appear together in vinyl runouts. Metalwork could be processed at any of these plants and then pressed at Damont or Lyntone. The metalwork would receive extra engraving as it was passed between plants.
