Dutch Christian label, for the record company use [l200324]. BmG stands for Band met God = Relationship with God, while "band" also means "tape" also referring to 'tape recording about God'. Please note that this label has nothing to do with the Bertelsmann Music Group. Started as a foundation ([l508772]) for distributing taped sermons and singing with Christian content to people who are unable to go to church. A few early releases only show "Stichting De Band Met God" and use the identifing code related to the pressing plant in Baarn as catalogue number (see [l415807]).
