Profile

Metal and Hard Rock reissues series produced by Armando Curcio Editore. Cassette or Cd enclosed with the Italian magazine "METAL" in the biennium 1992-1993, not for sale separated. The series was to be made up of 48 publications sold on newsstands on a weekly basis, each of them contained files that would make up "the most complete Hard Rock - Heavy Metal dictionary ever published" (to be bound in a volume of 768 pages with more of 2000 entries and 700 photographs). Each publication was combined with an in-depth analysis of a specific band or musician which consisted of a fold-out sheet, which told their story while the other side was a poster, and a reprint of one of their albums or compilations, available in CD format or in cassette. The first issue came out in September 1992, unfortunately the publications were interrupted in spring 1993 (probably due to poor sales), reaching only 29 of the 48 expected, leaving the series incomplete. Musical advisors: [a=Marco Lucchi (2)], [a=Mario Giugni], [a=Vincenzo Barone].
