Annual traditional folk music event 1981 to 1998 organised by [l=Spillemandslauget Østjyderne] in Aarhus, Denmark. The Århus 'Spillemandsstævne' consisted of workshops/courses, concerts, balls and busking and can be compared with the Lirum Larum Spillemandsstævne in Roskilde and [l=Højbystævnet] on Funen, for example. In 1999 the 'Spillemandsstævne' was changed into "Århus Folkemusikfestival" which was held at Brobjergskolen.
