A Finnish record company, founded when Ari Oinonen bought the majority of MTV-Musiikki in 1999. MTV still owns 15% of the company. The name of the company is Suomen Mediamusiikki Oy, while the label is named simply [l=Mediamusiikki] In September 2013 Sony Music Finland bought the entire back catalogue of Suomen Mediamusiikki Oy, with all the rights to the recordings handed over to Sony Music.
