A wholly owned subsidiary of [l318460] It's possible to discern the period in which a Ra Records release was issued/reissued by confirming the 'Distributed By' entity: - when Ra Records began in 1990 their releases were marketed by [l8742] (cat# starting with 875). - from 1992 to April 1996 Ra Records were distributed by [l66837] / [l145533] (cat# starting with 450, sometimes 206 or 063). - from June 1996 to September 1996 Ra Records were distributed by [l278585] (cat# starting with 206). - from November 1996 to 2004 Ra Records were distributed by [l126069] / [l33595] (cat# starting with 7432). On September 29th 1996 [l34489] / Ra Records was acquired by [l33595] for AU$5 million. - from late-2004 BMG Australia/Limited became [l216731].
