US label established in 1915 by Victor Hugo Emerson Jr. After it's parent company, [l=Emerson Phonograph Company Inc.] went into receivership in 1920, it became part of the Emerson Radio & Phonograph Corporation in 1922. The label then became [l=The New Emerson]. In 1924 the label was sold to the [l567964], which discontinued the label in 1928. [b]Can be written as Emerson, Emerson Record, or Emerson Records! All of these relate to the Emerson Phonograph Company Inc.[/b].
