Young Vic

Theatre company in London, formed in 1969 (but with roots dating back to the 1940s) and regarded as a more youthful offshoot of the more established "[l368426]" theatre company. The [l1228781] building in Lambeth was established in 1970 to permanently house the company's performances. In early 1971, [a196766] performed weekly live rehearsals at the Young Vic as a means of road testing new material from [m=68469] before a live audience. Later expanded editions of Who's Next would include tracks from these sessions.
