Discos Y Cartuchos De Mexico, S.A.

Profile

Discos y Cartuchos de México (record company, manufacturing and distribution facilities, with its label [l123111]) was created in the early 60s in Mexico by Ignacio (Nacho) Morales (previously manager of the RCA’s label [l100885] in Mexico). In the mid/late-70s (1976?), to support challenge made by the huge success of [a2433135], Nacho Morales changed the name to [l100592] (still manufactured some DCM records, before creating label [l58289]), and in the late 80s the company was sold to Fonovisa. Sometimes abbreviated to [l1027770].
