US bootleg label established in the late 1950s by [a=Bruno G. Ronty] after an attempted lawsuit by the Czech government/[l=Supraphon] on his previous label, [l=Colosseum (4)]. Many of the releases from Colosseum were reissued on the Bruno label, which is denoted by CRLP/CRLPX in the runouts of Bruno releases. Also appears as "Bruno Hi-Fi" or "Bruno Hi-Fi Records."
