Imprint formed in 1977 by bassist, composer, and bandleader [a=Mark Helias]. Initially formed to publish and administrate Mark Helias' music and license its use, it has since also become a production company and record label exclusively for the documentation of his music. Since the early 2000s, the label releases have been numbered with the format 'RL XXX'.
