Verve Forecast

A division of [l=Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Inc.] Label introduced by [l5041] in 1967 as a successor to [l100665] for the release of folk, psychedelic and experimental music under the Verve brand. After laying dormant since the early 1970s, it was relaunched in 1988 by [l393116] and became part of [l646808] in the early 1990s. The label stopped operating after the merger of PolyGram and Universal in 1999, but was relaunched again in 2004. The Label Code LC 00383 of the label Verve Records is used on Verve Forecast releases.
