The Danish branch of the multinational company [l=Electric & Musical Industries Ltd.] (EMI), established 1 July 1967 by renaming [l=Skandinavisk Grammophon Aktieselskab]. The company name is sometimes shortened to [b]Electric & Musical Industries A/S[/b], [l=EMI (Dansk-Engelsk) A/S] or simply [b]EMI A/S[/b]. In February 1992 the company bought [l=Medley Records ApS] and changed name to [l=EMI-Medley A/S].
