12 Apostles

The 12 Apostles will release 12 records at the rate of one a month for 12 months, on the 12th of each month. Each record will be a 12 inch single and will be limited to a pressing of 1,200 copies. The 12 records that comprise the acts of the apostles will be available from 12 record shops worldwide. Each participating record shop will stock all 12 of the records as they become available. Each record in the series will be identified with one of the 12 Apostles named in the Gospel of Matthew, namely: Andrew, Bartholomew, James the Great, James the Less, John, Jude Thaddaeus, Judas, Matthew, Peter, Philip, Simon and Thomas. The realisation of the 12 Apostles project will be made possible through the financial support of 12 benefactors (apostles) who agree to contribute £1,200 each to the project.
