Det (acronym of Discografia Editrice Tirrena) was created in 1966 by the Campi family (now Editoriale Campi) fonder and owner of the weekly "TV Sorrisi e Canzoni", whic, after having founded CAM, a label specialized in soundtracks, has decided to expand its record presence in the light music, giving life to DET and TANK. The Headquarters were established in Rome, via Vigilio 8, in the same building as "TV Sorrisi e Canzoni". Among the artists who recorded for the DET are to remember Peppino Gagliardi, Alberto Anelli and Catherine Spaak, also distributed through CA.DI. (Campi Distributrice) minor label such as Don Backy's "AMICO" and Herbert Pagani's "MAMA RECORDS". The label ended in 1970
