Symp.tom

Former subdivision of [l=Neophyte Records] focused towards industrial hardcore techno, darkcore and occasional experimental projects. Managed by [a=Mental Wreckage] and [a=Mute.], the Symp.tom label ran from 2004 until its unexpected end in 2011, when its mother label Mid-Town Records went bankrupt and auctioned their back catalogue to [l=Cloud 9 Music BV]. Worth mentioning are Symp.tom's own spin-off series of the '[l345196]' compilation CDs (widening the variety with darker material), hosting the Industrial Hardcore Area at Nightmare Outdoor 2009 in Hellendoorn, and hosting the Kapotcast mix series since 2020. In 2017, the [l221077] label also started up a special sub-series of releases called [l=Revisited: Symp.tom], which so far involved remixes of classic Symp.tom tracks.
