Minneapolis, MN. Green House Music started out in concept circa 1995. Creators [a1550595] and [a866907] set out to create a vehicle to release their work along with other ambient and experimental artists from around the world. The vision of this label was in turn inspired by other artists who had turned entrepreneurs to release their music and also the music of musicians they admired and respected. Upon meeting up with James Coplin, a like-minded individual and fellow musician, Green House Music was born. Green House Music closed its doors in 2002. There were seven releases on Green House. The catalog-number format was GHM.year of release.release order. For example, GHM.99.02 was the second release in 1999. Later, co-founder Nathan Larson started an Internet label named [l=Dark Winter].
