Subsidiary label of Compost and Compose Records. Only one release on Compute by Blimp, which is a brainchild of Sebastian Niessen, who were a longterm engineer for Kraftwerk at Kling Klang Studios and an old friend of Compost founder Michael Reinboth. Sebastian Niessen developed and founded lot of analogue synthesizers, equalizers and filter banks. Best known is his SND sequencer. The basic idea behind Compute as an subsidiary label of Compost and Compose was to launch more leftfield electro and abstract techno, but since Compost Records artists also were touching those musical genres on Compost, there was no reason for this sublabel anymore.
